Turns out EVA creates its own mission time, so it would make more sense just to do fastest time to land a Kerbal on the roof, with or without a pod.

Land on top of the VAB helipad and plant a flag as quickly as possible. Fastest mission time wins. It's pretty easy, so you can make several attempts or even redesigns. Should be fun.
