Got all confused, tried a few RCS personal transports and SSTOs which all flopped! I've not really landed elsewhere aside from Eve, once, and feel very lost at times, still! Sad story is sad

Hmm, approaching a big ball of bubblegum! Slightly oversized lander this time, just experimenting with lifters & what they could load! Touchdown! Minimus! Lets go check out the surfa.....oh, wait, yes, thats a solar panel blocking the hatch....!

How do you people actually land things like landers & outpots on Mun & Minimus etc..? I just can barely get a lander down, let alone an attached structure!!

Looks like it is first timer's moon landing day today, congrats Jerry! Finally! A perfect Mun landing, all went fine aside from trying to jettison the penultimate engine & fuel tanks a bit close to Mun and they stuck back on for 10 seconds of panic! Either way, Jeb touched down safely, on the dark side of the moon, with no lights, rush made the craft and completely forgot to illuminate it! I thought I was still airborne, jiggling away at the RCS then realised I had touched down! The start of something beautiful, AND, maybe enough power left to get back, maybe...although no parachute was a slight oversight on my part AGAIN

Thanks for that, although I just deleted my KSP folder entirely, reinstalled the game, installed some mods, some of which have a few pre-installed ships with them, and then still have no save functionality, I'll go through the mods again now and get wiping, especially as I had a crash when going back to the Spaceplane hangar!

Thanks guys, wow an overwhelmingly nice list of mods there, and to think I misspelt the title and made myself look like something a Kerbal stood on! I haven't had any slowdown aside from when I try silly amounts of Rockets & Engines at once, the PC has 16GB RAM but I'm not sure if KSP is running in 32bit still, so limited anyways? I'll definately try out some of those mods listed and see what I can do, as I said in the OP, most of the game is still pretty new to me as I only reached Mun last night, but I'm hoping to get out & about more as I go

Heya all, I'm very new here to please excuse the newbie post count, still learning the game and only just managed to land on Mun last night I'm currently running too many mods I think, just random stuff from when I picked up the game in September before GTA V stole me away, and something has glitched that won't let me save ships! So, tonight I'm going to uninstall from steam, delete all mods & folders and start again, fresh install & get some selected mods, I know Kethane & B9 are meant to be good packs and I'm just trying to build stuff up without getting WAY too much going on Thanks!

Hey all, new to the forums but been playing a while and never seemed to get the hang of it, but this weekend, after a few Mun attempts, I partially got the hang of it!! Here we go AGAIN Mun, coming ready or not!! Getting closer!! Slight surface skim, but Bill, and even some of his ship touched down! Heres a bit! Here's some more! After a quick escape attempt, there was no way near enough Delta V in those 3 little engines on the capsule, decided to re-land and save Bill I say save...he's now stranded, but thats my 1st official, if not fully perfect landing done All I need to do is work on the engines on the way down, kept pushing myself back up and yo-yo'ing, which then meant drifting side to side...
