  1. I'd like to request a patch for my space station KSS Prometheus the motto of the project is "A Station to the Stars" http://imgur.com/W3qPVkI No hurry though just whenever you get time
  2. Keep them coming the artwork is absolutely amazing.
  3. Yea the only mod that would cause this is the Deadly Reentry mod. In the pictures it looks like you're gravity turn is too shallow (only about 80 degrees above horizon). To avoid this destruction try starting a gravity turn at around the 10km mark keeping your heading at about 30-45 degrees above the horizon. Then once your Ap is about 10km higher than your current altitude lower your heading to about 10 degrees above the horizon.
  4. Like I said in the original post I didn't make the artwork the credit for that goes to 10dowg10 on deviantart.com I simply added some words to the picture because it seemed to clearly show the fears that the Kerbals have to Kerbalkon.
  5. Now comes the best part of a failed mission managing the rescue. Nothing is more satisfying than saving a lost Kerbal from almost certain death.
  6. Thanks its a bit hard to be creative while you're more than a few drinks into a bottle of whiskey. I will probably make it a little better here in a few days.
  7. I doubt anything short of a supercomputer could load that.
  8. If there is a mod that does it and does it well I doubt Squad is going to make it a priority.
  9. TechnicalK3rbal is correct but I'm not entirely sure if that works with the mod you are using. Try alt clicking on the pipe connections if the above solution does not work.
  10. In honor of the Developers managing to kill 24 brave Kerbal souls during this years Kerbalkon I have edited this picture originally created by 10dowg10 and posted on deviantart. 11. The Joystick slot is just a place holder for now, I haven't even begun work on it yet I still have to decide on an actual size to make it. Right now it looks like its going to be about 37x31x10cm (approx. 1ftx1ftx4in), I'm also trying to figure out what material to make it out of metal v. plastic. I favor working with metal but plastic has it's advantages. NEVER I hate Ipads and refuse to use them plus nothing beats the feel of a real joystick/buttons in your hand.
  12. I just had it there because I did it specifically for Kerbalkon '13 but thanks.
  13. I meant it sarcastically but I don't have a sarcasm font, no offense was meant.
  14. In honor of Kerbalkon I am unveiling my plans for a real life Kerbal Controller that looks similar to the internal controls of Kerbal spacecraft. It's still in the development phases right now I'm tinkering with the actual size of the different parts and screens that will be required for this. I may need some assistance with programing of this device but for now I still need to get the actual components in place before I can do anything else. If you are interested let me know I doubt it will ever be mass produced but I wouldn't mind making a few dozen of these. 15. He can't snap its not written into his coding but it would be curious to see if the psychological effects of long term space travel will be worked into KSP at some point. Like on long journeys you have to make sure that you Kerbals get along and you get better science if they are all happy.
  16. My first trip to Dina was going perfectly. I had an aerobrake set up at 14.6km from the surface and carefully picked a landing zone rich in Kethane using a combination of parachutes and rockets I lowered my landing speed to about 15m/s. Unfortunately I had landed on a hill and as soon as the ship touched down it rolled over breaking off two of three of the boosters I would need to reach orbit. The rescue mission landed over 200 days later 37km away and Jeb had to walk all the way there then ride shotgun all the way back to Kerbin but was eventually recovered after over a year of total time away from Kerbin. This is without a doubt my most spectacular failure and success in KSP.
