  1. Is this guide still the way to do it? I'm trying to get into modding KSP, but every guide seems to be from 2013. Following what is in the first post here, I set up visual studio and have added the references mentioned. But when I paste in the first example, Visual Studio says that it doesn't know what MonoBehaviour or Debug.Log is.
  2. What altitude are you trying to land from? Unless something changed in 1.9.1, I haven't had any problem with landing with mechjeb. If you are too low, MJ might end up overshooting or undershooting the target. When going to Mun, I get into a 50km orbit first and then use the landing autopilot. I haven't had a miss yet. So far I've used the small 3m engine and the thrust vectoring 1m engine. My first two lander were 3m landers with the crew fuel tank and some small 1m tanks strapped to the side. Landed with plenty of fuel. My second lander was one that had already landed, I was just moving it. MechJeb almost planted it right on top of my first lander and I had to use RCS to push it to the side. If you give MJ enough room to land, it will land perfectly. Also, is there any sort of manual for the rendezvous module? I noticed the MJ manual wiki is outdated and want to know how to properly use the Smart A.S.S. to meet another craft.
  3. If all that's in this new update is more planets, I'm a bit disappointed. I would have liked to have seen an update to the parts or new features. New places to go are always nice, but it's a bit annoying to get to them when the only option is to brute force it with ungainly, giant rockets and a lack of parts.
  4. It\'s easier to launch to the east as the planet is already rotating east. Launching west, you have to overcome 200m/s or however much to the east before you actually start going east. Whereas by launching east, you get a free 200m/s.
  5. Would you be able make a calculator of sorts to would let someone find what exact velocity they need at any given height? Or say what equation you used so I can make my own?
