I didn't read all of the threads on this forum, but I did read the 2 stickies (1 for what NOT to suggest, and one for what has been suggested)... I think we should be able to add waypoints similar to how we add maneuvers. The point of these waypoints would be to yank us out of time warp in case we forget or aren't quick enough to hit it when we want. Then we can set up a maneuver to get from Kerbin to Mun or Minmus, or any other destination and add a waypoint on our path that we can use to say "Okay, you're getting close, slowing down".
