My first successful(ish) spaceplane design! It flies reasonably stably, and can even land, albeit only once (unless a more skilled pilot than I can get it to land without using the tail chute). One can even turn off SAS a few seconds after launch and it\'ll stay stable until the SRBs burn out. As far as landing, just pop the tail chute shortly before you touch down. Uses base parts, C7 v2.1, the radial chute from this thread, and the OKAD Gantry System (very useful for spaceplane launches).

I love the gantry! The decoupler\'s force is tuned just right to get stuff out of the way without wrecking my ships. At last, I can launch my spaceplanes without having to worry about stabilizing them on the pad!

Are there some sort of requirements or restrictions for attaching the radial parachutes? I was playing around a bit and could only hitch them to decouplers, so I\'m wondering if I\'m missing something
