  1. So the big event is someone on twitch, playing KSP?! Really? Do you have any idea how many hours I spent, watching Scott Manley doing just that? And he isn't as annoying as the one on twitch right now.
  2. I have that happening to a battery after deploying the fairings. It's a probe with a couple of stacked Z200. As soon as the fairings go, the 3rd battery from the top explodes due to overheating. Interestingly it's the one that has two DTS-M1 antennas and two Mk2-R parachutes attached to it. after the explosion the antennas and parachutes are "slightly warm" (according to the F11 overlay). Under the fairing all parts, including the battery, were fine (bright red). "Overlapping" mods: Interstellar FAR Kerbal Engineer Kerbal Joint Reinforcement MechJeb 2
  3. Well, what do you know! I have a knack for timing. Usually it's bad timing though.
  4. No pic unfortunately, but when I placed a satellite with no propulsion on a geosynchronous orbit, it flew off, away from kerbin. It only happened when I was very close (286860m or closer I think)
  5. I didn't think much. There are just some companies like Siemens or Canon, that use their names in combination with a specific font as their company brand. I just wanted to add some diversity, and like I said: No customer, no briefing, no feedback, neatly leads to "wild stab in the dark".
  6. Damn! Double checking wasn't enough. Thanks for the hint, I wanted to redo the last picture anyway.
  7. Thanks. I'm quite pleased with some designs, while others are below par. I didn't change them though, to keep it more realistic, since there are always customers that chose the inferior design and I'm no artist, I provide a service so the customer gets, what he wants.
  8. That depends. And usually I'd have to charge you.
  9. I realised, that none of the companies in the game has a logo, so I came up with a first draft. Quite a stab in the dark without briefing and feedback from the customers.
  10. I just found this by accident and I love it! Playing KSP I discovered some mild OCD-ish behaviour, manifesting in trying to keep it realistic. Yes, i know... But i could never just strap a structure the size of a footballfield to the top of a rocket thats wider than it's tall, even the thought of it... And while I don't need a Launchpad on other planets (all I "need" is something for smaller constructions and repairs) having one in orbit is brilliant and the fact, that I have to supply it with resources...Exactly what I was looking for! This is so close to my imagination, it's almost scary.
  11. I just spent the best part of christmas, modelling a couple of struts and multidirectional joints/nodes to connect them. I encountered this connection issue while using the stationHub stockpart but didn't think much of it until I tried to get my own T, L or X-shaped nodes connected... at least I know now that the error is not in my cfg. I can't open Tw1's link for some reason so my idea might be similar, but what about the possibility to select two nodes manually and telling KSP to connect them? So let's say we have an active project with a node facing x, we could select the node facing -x on a stationHub for example, press "c" and the hub just snaps to it.
