So i made a new design. It gets a full single glider to orbit. 6950dv in a 80x70km orbit. -

Also keep your cog and col as close as possible at all stages of flight. If you have drop tanks they should be on the cog -

The key to reaching high altitude is using sas for control and keeping your horizontal airspeed up so you can continue to get lift. If your plane can't fly on sas alone then you will have a hard time flying at high altitude. -

With the minimum parachute weight being .1, it is hard to justify adding a parachute to a small drone instead of just retro burning to land. I think adding a small, lower drag parachute would really help with drone buidling!
