  1. I've been on vacation for two weeks, and it was fun, but I missed exposing my Kerbals to 100,000+ g forces and enough radiation to kill a human in milliseconds. I just got back home yesterday, booted up KSP, and forgot I had downloaded AfterKerbin. I went back through the planets, and I saw something peculiar while looking at Jool's future analog, Reaper... And I had to know; has ANYONE ever successfully landed and returned to orbit FROM Reaper? If not, does anyone have any plans to? Edit: Reaper is the future analog of Jool, with the about same atmosphere as jool, and ridiculous gravity.
  2. Some of you may have heard of the planet mod Gameslinx's Planet Overhaul by @Gameslinx. Personally, I never got to take a proper look at GPO's planets and moons, but it sounds pretty cool. Four new habitable worlds and a beautiful protostar? Count me in, that is if... it were to work properly. I have heard that GPO no longer works on the latest version of Kopernicus. I tried it out anyway on my copy of KSP 1.8.1, with Kopernicus and KittopiaTech 1.8.1-1 with Beyond Home installed. I modified Gaia's config to make sure that it wouldn't become the homeworld and I edited its moons' orbital properties to make sure that it orbits Gaia and not a renamed Kerbin with Gaia's properties. I also reparented Dread, Dres' GPO moon, around Olu'um on the opposite side of Telos' orbit. And it still didn't work. I then temporarily deleted my save and Beyond Home, and it failed to load when it was loading one of its Scatterer sunflares. Now I want to know; why does this wonderful mod no longer work with KSP 1.8.1 and Kopernicus 1.8.1-1? Did something change with Kopernicus in the versions after GPO's last update? Did something required in GPO's supported Kopernicus versions get removed in the newer versions? If anyone can tell me why Gameslinx's Planet Overhaul no longer works on KSP 1.8.1, please inform me. Any support is greatly appreciated.
  3. Welcome to the Public Community Science Definitions for Gameslinx's Planet Overhaul. Here, you are able to submit, edit and produce science definitions for each planet, each biome and each science experiment for Gameslinx's Planet Overhaul. RULES: Please be respectful and provide legitimate science definitions for planets. I don't want to have to go through them all and correct immature writing. Please don't change what others have done unless it's to correct a grammar or spelling error. Don't mess around with the format of the document as the person who set this up put a lot of effort into it. Only write in the yellow space provided and clearly marked on the spreadsheet. How do I write science Definitions? You can easily write your own science definitions by writing text in the yellow boxes next to the planet and biome. Not all of the planets are present in the document, but I/the creator will add them at a later date. Use the 'User Edits' tab to input your definitions. You can see which experiment you are performing at the top of the spreadsheet. Notes Please note that not all 30 planets/moons are present in the document. I cannot get through writing all this text alone. I would greatly appreciate the support in this endeavour. Credit to @FuzzyMeep TWO for creating and formatting this spreadsheet. Click here to be taken to the spreadsheet. Thank you.
