  1. I'm in need of vertical snapping when designing spacecrafts. In fact, I'm kind of surprised that I don't really run into many others having a problem with this, but I'm hoping that someone knows of a mod or method to do this. In the vanilla game, you can snap parts to an imaginary "grid" of a sorts, when aligning them horizontally. I need the same thing, only for in the vertical direction. I've tried Editor Extensions Redux which has a feature called "vertical snap", but it only seems able to align parts to the exact vertical center of their parent parts. I need much more freedom than that, pretty much like with the horizontal snap, where you can select the "grid" (not sure about the terminology here) being 5 degrees, 15 degrees or whatever. Does any of this make sense? Anyone have any suggestions?
  2. The McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) AV-8B Harrier II is a single-engine ground-attack aircraft that constitutes the second generation of the Harrier Jump Jet family. Capable of vertical or short takeoff and landing (V/STOL), the aircraft was designed in the late 1970s as an Anglo-American development of the British Hawker Siddeley Harrier, the first operational V/STOL aircraft. Specifications: Type: SPH Class: aircraft Part Count: 54 Mods: 4 Mass 11.69t Cost 42,608.0 No. of Stages 4 Crew Capacity 1 Part Count 54 Craft File: https://kerbalx.com/Kerbalyst/AV8-Harrier
  3. Previously I've tried to launch a SSTO but to no avail: you just can't seem to do that with low-tier tech. So I've decided to approach the problem with a different solution: a spaceplane on top of a reusable first stage. The design will be similar in concept to Dyna-Soar and Boeing X37-B.
  4. when on EVA, I cannot get the kerbal to rotate vertically. This means that I often end up bumping my head into whatever I'm trying to interface with. If it's a railing and I'm in this orientation and hit F to grab on, this always ends up flinging me far off into space with my RCS off. I've gone through thread after thread and all the conversations mention it, but there's no mention on how to correct it.
