I'm going to keep calling it Minimus in my head, though. I already have a whole story written about a mission there. Now I have to go back and correct all the occurrences that I accidentally misspelled.

I blame it on the fact that I already knew that about the pinky toe, so my brain interpolated an "i" into the name of the moon where there isn't one.

That article/image launched a disinformation that the smallest toe is called Minmus. It's called minimus (Latin: "the smallest one").
