Reload part without restarting KSP?

I'm tweaking some parts cfgs and I have a question - is there any way the changes can be reflected in KSP without restarting it?

I think the alt+F12 Reload database function *may* do that. I haven't tried that myself though, with the amount of mods I have it tends to crash.

ModuleManager adds a reload database function on Alt+F11.

For some reason after I reload the database, many parts are missing in VAB

Alt-F12 reload first, *then* MM reload. MM won't automatically reload unless you tell it to, creating parts using MM is reasonably common.

No, just reload with MM ALT F11 menu. It handles the part reloading.

This happens to me sometimes when I make a mistake in .cfg. Sometimes only the affected part disappears but sometimes I lose almost everything. Usually all of Squads stuff and most mods, B9 always sticks around though.
