Recommended Posts

So I was doing prep for an AAR, and I put Bill on the Inland KSC's launchpad.

Then I did a quick mission to test something, but......

?????!!!!!????

Bill was nowhere near the active KSC's launchpad......

Can others verify this?

Sorry if this counts as a bug report mods.

Stock KSP don't make any difference between old KSC and actual KSC launch pad, anything on old KSC launch pad is considered to block (or be on) the actual KSC launch pad. Didn't try it myself but I remember having hear that explanation on an old Scott Manley video.

I might be wrong.

Launchpad & similar are identified by being biomes. The old and new pad have the same biome (like you have two icecaps on opposite sides of Kerbin which are the same biome). When you recover a vessel, the entire biome is stripped of everything (which is useful in clearing two dozen launch clamps or bits that have broken off in a hard landing).
