I'm not sure everyone will get it, but I think it is pretty funny.

(The fact that I think it is funny while others may not might also explain some of my failed attempts at humor around here...)

He started as the helmsman on the Enterprise D, then became more of the transporter chief, then transferred DS9. By then end of that show, he was heading to Earth to teach engineering, hardly a dead end job in my view.

(but the comic is pretty good, it could be a very boring job just sitting there)
