How to make surface connections stiffer?

Recommended Posts

Node connections are very strong in the game. But robotic arms assembled from Infernal Robotics hinges turn out very wobbly at the root which is surface connected. It's a very unrealistic behavior. Is there any way to tackle this issue?

All I can suggest is struts. You are able to strut interiors of parts depending on where the mouse is so it remains hidden and that does a pretty good job. I can't think of anything else, sorry.

And to be more clear, interiors as in you place a strut invisibly inside a part and strut it to the adjacent component.

I see, thanks. Hope struts don't add as much to CPU load as other parts do.
