Increased engine gimballing

The little gimballing we have now it's simply silly, no way.

It's actually not that silly. The smaller the rockets are, the less control authority they need to achieve the same level maneuverability. If you make the rocket 2x smaller, you need 32x less torque for the same angular acceleration. If you keep the thrust vectoring angle the same, you get 8x less force 2x closer to the center of mass, or 2x more torque than you need.
