Configurable ejection force for decouplers

Recommended Posts

As simple as that - I'd like to be able to rifgt-click on a decoupler and set it's ejection force.

I use them in my SSTO spaceplanes to hold cargo (docking ports have been quite buggy for me) and I don't enjoy shooting expensive space probes from one end of the cargo bay to the other.

I'm pretty sure some other people would like to see this feature too.

Grab the "Tweakable Everything" Mod, it gives you that option with decouplers, along with if it will or WON'T appear in the staging tree. Other tweaks include turning off sun tracking for solar panels, torque of SAS wheels, etc.

I usually side step the radial decoupler bug by turning the ejection force to 0 and using sepratrons to push a spent booster away.

You could just use a docking port instead, as they work just as well. They have the added bonus of being able to pick up a separate probe or re-adjust the same probe.

Thanks, I will.

I can't use docking ports for they are buggy sometimes, I wrote it in a first porst.
