Please fix Gilly for 1.0

Recommended Posts

I know it's a fairly minor thing, but this just looks wrong:

According to the map, landed in midair.

Please fix this for 1.0, as it doesn't really support the professionalism of the game..

Gilly is worse than the other planets. Try driving a rover around the surface with Mechjeb on, and it will constantly have trouble with where you will land and "time until impact". No other planet does this.

EDIT:

See how i'm 62m above the surface, and have a positive vertical velocity?

Also see how mechjeb says "0 seconds until impact".

This isn't a mechjeb bug.

Would be nice if that was fixed, plus there's some other small-planet issues:

- The 'low space' science area for Gilly is very low, it's below the lowest warp regime. Would be nice if it was higher.

- Pol has some invisible walls that you can crash into. Would be nice if those disappeared...

Personally, I'd rather make the lowest warp altitude lower. This solves the problem of Gilly landings taking forever, but at the same time it'd mean you would still have to dip below a safe orbit to get low space science, which I quite enjoy. :)
