Need help with pc bios..

So i'm trying to install new os into my old pc, I did that several times in the past. I'm using usb flash to boot it, but it's stuck at "Verifying DMI Pool data....".

My pc can see the flash drive, I had no problems before.

And I chose usb as the primary boot device on bios settings. Any ideas?

Does the stick have boot data? I've always had to use special utilities to make my boot sticks; it's not just a matter of copying the folders to it.

Are you sure the USB stick is bootable? I had a problem once where it was bootable on one computer and not on another depending on the OS image that I flashed and the program I used for flashing it. It was a weird situation.

Try a different USB stick or using a different program to prepare the USB stick.

Also test if it can boot another 'putrr, if one's handy.

you could try resetting the bios to default settings.
