Customizing the map icons

(Sorry if this has already been discussed/confirmed)

A lot of people have demanded Squad make proper aircraft icons for the map, as well as other ones. Instead of asking Squad to make a new one per update, why don't Squad simply let us edit the icons like the flags?

No more confusing than streaming or displaying a modded install and having people ask 'what mod is that part from?'.

I agree with OP, it'd be nice to access the icons. Add new ones, change existing ones etc...

You can already use any icon you want for any craft. I won't say we need custom icons just that we need more. The current selection is too restrictive.

I don't think we really need custom ones, we just need more.

People have suggested color-coding them for manned-unmanned, landed-unlanded, but that would look too confusing and weird. Honestly, if we just had a larger selection of icons for things like aircraft or interplanetary ships, that would work fine.

What it mainly seems to lack is an Airplane icon. Would be nice to have it. I agree with Nikola.
