Karborundum Reactor

For K+, would it be possible to make a nuclear reactor that runs on karborundum? I am looking for 1.5m and 2.5m variants. I just need to generate huge amounts of EC for the Torch Drive.

Maybe it could require like 100 EC to start and produce 50-100 EC/sec?

Near Future Electric nuclear reactors do not in fact run on Karborundum, I'm afraid.

However, the nuclear fuel included on launch lasts for many kerbal years even at full load, and you can throttle it down/turn it off when not in use to save fuel. And you can carry extra fuel drums and refuel in flight.

They will if you edit the file or patch it, I worded that wrong at top my bad.

Also several of the USI packs come with reactors that are comparable to the NFT ones.

Which packs have the Nuclear reactors? Do they come in 1.5/2.5m variants? I could probably resize them though, if I knew which thing in the .cfg to change.

Thanks for all the help!
