Dos any one know how to setup the hatswitch to move the game camera during flight and eva instead of using the mouse to move the camera around?I am using a thrustmaster t16000m joystick and I do not see a option to use the hatswitch to move the camera around.

Check to see if your joystick manufacturer provides software that allows you to bind the hatswitch (and other actions) to keys on your keyboard

In the settings, under Input, Misc., there is Axis Bindings for Camera on the right hand side. Select each axis, and move the hat switch.

This. I fought this very issue for a while myself, until I was messing around with Windows settings for a totally srparate gamepad, and the calibration utility explicitly called the D-pad a "hat switch," and I had previously mapped that pad to axes in KSP. Lo and behold, the hat on my stick maps to axes.

Problem solved I found it Settings/Input/Misc. Camera Horizontal and Camera Vertical then assigned those two to my hat switch.
