Bagel Rabbit

The Future of KSP Insanity

~~~
So, What Do I Do?
  • I make Kerbal Space Program videos that are generally short and sweet (almost all of my videos are less than four minutes in length).
  • These videos consistently feature unscripted, live dialogue and a heck of a lot of fun! I enjoy making these things far too much.
  • I try to make a video twice or three times per week, so be sure to check back regularly! You won't regret it.
  • I play only stock KSP, and I'll often provide .craft files for my creations, so you can test them yourself!
I generally:
  • Build Awesome Crafts! VTOLs, Dropships, Jetpacks, Automobiles, Boats, SSTOs, Animal-Shaped Craft, and even some rockets! (I'm a big fan of unconventional designs.)
  • Break KSP! Have you ever wanted to meet the Kraken? Launch a Stability Enhancer? Create five-sided symmetry in stock KSP? Well, I've done that and more, and you can too!
  • Make Music! I'm working on "theme songs" for planets in KSP, and some of my songs have even been featured by SQUAD! (More on this later...)
  • Launch Model Rockets! I've taken a model of Jeb up to over 1,500 feet and brought him back safely. With an onboard GoPro. Several times. The footage is cool.
  • Work on the occasional cinematic! I don't do these often, but every once in a while, why not? I look forward to (possibly) collaborating on a video with Avera9eJoe over the summer.
  • [COMING SOON!] Make KSP Tutorials! Because KSP is awesome, and you can too! Everything from basic rocket science to advanced aircraft construction will be covered.
I also do non-KSP stuff, but that won't be appearing on this page.
~~~

Over the years, my YouTube channel has become rather popular. I've been featured in the Daily Kerbal four times, and I now have over 2,000 subscribers. I've had videos liked by Danny2462 and Heretic391, among other famous YouTubers.

However: My videos will remain ad-free forever. I don't want to profit from YouTube: I already have a job. I just want to make people happy.

~~~
Okay, enough talking. Here's the five most recent KSP videos on Bagel Rabbit, from newest to oldest.
(I should provide a channel link, if you want to see more. There's lots of good stuff on there...
Here you go.
...anyways, here are my most recent videos.)
Drops of Jool: Original KSP Music (2:18)
KSP: My "Junkyard" Designs! (5:27)
KSP: Cute Wittle Dinosaur! (2:13)
KSP: Cute VTOL-Plane! (2:38)
KSP: Fairing Floating Bug! (2:15)
I'll update this each time a new video comes out, as well as adding a new post.
~~~

If you enjoyed these videos, don't forget to leave a like, or maybe even subscribe! I would really appreciate it.

If you really like my videos, consider giving a bit of Reputation! It's a simple way of showing that you enjoy the stuff I make.

See you next time with some more Kerbal Space Program videos... PEACE!

Yeah, the video-embedding here on the forum is a bit temperamental. :\ They sometimes work, sometimes don't.

They're not up for me either.

Gah. The last time this happened, it lasted for days. That isn't great. And I spent so much time on this page!

Ah well. Hopefully it'll resolve itself soon.

In the meantime, don't be afraid to click on the link(s). The "Guppy" SSTO video (the middle one) clocks in at about five and a half minutes, but the other two are only two and a half minutes long, so they won't use up too much of your time. (Actually, I should edit in the lengths right after I finish with this post!)

If you watch my videos, please let me know what you think. Helpful feedback is much appreciated, and it'll make the channel even better! I would appreciate that a heck of a lot.

Great to see this here! I hopefully look forwards to that project too :). Best of luck with your endeavors! And feel free to post SUN or do whatever you want with it whenever you want :).

OH and a P.S. idea.for your OP, I suggest you use spoilers when you get enough videos here for that to seem useful. I love spoilers :3.

Alright, the deed has been done!

It's a bit ironic that my first video that I posted here was one of the only ones out there that someone helped on. Oh well. :)

"SUN" features a Celtic flair and gives a sense of setting off on a long journey! It's meant to be played right as a player leaves Kerbin's (or any other planet's) sphere of influence.

Thanks muchly to Avera9eJoe for percussion. Couldn't have done it without you, sir.

"SUN: Original KSP Music" (2:27)

[EDIT: Dang, video embedding still not working for me. I start a channel, and the Forum immediately blocks me from posting videos. Ah well.]

  • 2 weeks later...

Ooh, I haven't posted my latest video here! Dang... here I was, thinking I could maintain this regularly... *mumble grumble*

Presenting... the Skymobile Mk4! It's a rover. And an airplane And it's a boat. And it's a lander. And... well... you should probably just watch the video.

"Skymobile Mk4: The All-Purpose Vehicle!" (4:52)

EDIT: Yay! The embedding now works! (And I'm not the brightest bulb.)

So, I feel as if I should notify you of this beforehand, so that you'll be able to see it happen.

Over the next couple of days, I'm going to make a lot of videos (one every day or two) about "saying goodbye" to 0.90. I'm going to showcase every glitch I've found (after all, they'll probably be fixed by 1.0), mess around a bit with the aerodynamics system one final time, and just have a lot of fun in 0.90 while I have the chance.

I'm also probably going to make a video of KSP in 0.14 (the first version I played) and note all of the changes that the game has gone through.

I'll try my very best to post all of the videos here, though I can't make any promises, as I'm enormously scatter-brained and have enough trouble posting things on YouTube already. It would be a good idea to subscribe to my channel (link below) so that you don't miss out on any of this.

The first video in this series should be coming out tonight! Stay tuned, and thanks for watching.

Alright, I have up a video documenting the very first glitch I ever found!

It addresses the question that has been asked by humanity since the beginning of time: Can Patcan and Raycan Can-Can in a Lander-Can? (The song about this is simply gorgeous, if you happen to be tone-deaf.)

"KSP: Stacking Lander-Cans!" (3:53)

EDIT: Yay! I can embed things now! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction KasperVld.

Time for another video! This thread's actually going to stay near the top of the page for a little while! Wow.

This video documents a glitch found by mythbusters844: using the offset tool to do some pretty strange things. Near the end... well... it's a bit difficult to describe. I have no idea what it is, or how it happened. But it did.

KSP: Offset Tool Madness! (3:54)

...and yes, the videos are now properly embedded. Also, this thread has reached two pages, which is nice.

Thanks for watching!

Hello!

Yesterday, Scott Manley posted a video in which he made a sophisticated submarine and sunk it to about 750m under the water. Yesternight, I made a rock in KSP: a thing that naturally sunk to 931m without need for engines or any of that fancy stuff. It relied on the negative buoyancy of the Mk3 to 3.75m adapter and it was loads of fun to watch sink to the bottom of the ocean! Yes, loads of fun. Really. Why don't you believe me?

Fortunately, I made the video short and sweet. You're welcome.

KSP: Nasty Submarine! (3:33)

Once again, thanks for watching.

Hello again!

So, since the last video (and perhaps due to its provocative title and a comment I posted on Scott Manley's channel), the great Manley himself has asked to see the craft return to the surface! This meant me dropping all of the stuff I was doing before and focusing on making the sub return to the top of the water. I managed to not only do this, but also create a very cheaty submarine with Whack-a-Kerbal that can descend and ascend at speeds of over 30 m/s without any fuel!

So, here's my latest video.

KSP: A Not-So-Nasty Submarine! (4:46)

Enjoy!

Hello again!

It's time for a very brief goodbye to stock aero. I'm going to do plenty of stuff with the old aerodynamics while I still can... but that will come in future videos.

KSP: A Fond Farewell... (0:17)

This thread has felt a little empty lately. Anyone want to drop by and comment on what I'm doing well or what I could do better? That would be nice.

Anyway, see y'all soon.

Would a hovering tank fit in your bug collection?

Ooh! That looks cool! (I'm not sure 1.0 will fix it, though.)

Recently, I've been playing around with symmetry:

KSP: Ten-Plus-Sided Symmetry! (3:53)

...as well as having a lot of fun building and then destroying giant towers of SRBs.

KSP: Tower of Death! (3:49)

Lighting the SRB Tower! (1:21)

...so yeah. I can't wait for 1.0!

  • 2 months later...

Jeez. I keep letting these threads die. I'm better at keeping potted plants alive (and believe me, my plants have grown to hate me).

So, let me just say that my channel is still alive, though just barely. My main computer is dead, and I've been out of the video-making business for over a month now. I am still alive though, and when a computer is delivered to me, new KSP content will blossom like flowers!

In the meantime though, here's my five most recent videos, from newest to oldest:

Drops of Jool: Original KSP Music (2:18)

(I will just note here that this is the first piece of music that I've posted on my channel in a good long while. I make my own KSP music, as some of you may know :) )

KSP: My "Junkyard" Designs! (5:27)

KSP: Cute Wittle Dinosaur! (2:13)

KSP: Cute VTOL-Plane! (2:38)

KSP: Fairing Floating Bug! (2:15)

So anyways, expect new videos in a couple of weeks. And as always, if you liked the videos, don't forget to leave a like or maybe even subscribe! That would be tremendously appreciated :)
