K.L.S.R Kerbal Land Speed Record

Recommended Posts

The point of this challenge is to design and build a land vehicle that will acheive the highest speed possible on the short length of the runway provided at the kerbal space center and come to a complete stop without crashing between the short section of land between the end of the runway and the ocean without killing your crew in the process

The final speed can be presented in any way you like Video, Print screens Etc etc I love seeing others creations that are being used to break the records

RULES :

- The vehicles throttle must be cut as soon as the wheels leave the runway ( X can be used to cut throttle completly)

- FOR THIS ROUND ONLY No mods that may help you control the vehicle during the run (Obviously as the record becomes harder the break guiding mods such as MECH Jeb and Smart A.S.S may be used to aid you in the cotrol of your vehicle during the run)

- The vehicle can be as big and wacky as you want in your attempt to break the record just dont end up in orbit like i did with The KLSR 2.0 Mk1

- Braking aids such as parachutes and air brakes ( Flaps ) ARE allowed (Be warned parachutes will only deploy succesfully after the craft has left the runway)

- No runway expansions from mods that may add runways around the world.attempts that are going to be submitted may only be recorded on the runway at kerbal space center test anwhere else as much as you want butsubmit to me from the KSS runway

- HAVE FUN :sticktongue:

I will check your submissions TWICE A WEEK probably MONDAYS and THURSDAYS as i tend to go away on fridays

Your submissions can be posted in this thread or emailed to me at : Xprodidgy911@gmail.com
