No graphics at all on Ubuntu 14.04 & KSP 0.90

Freshly installed Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit and KSP 0.90 on a Haswell i5-200U system with Intel 4400 GPU. (Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus)

The game loads normally and I can get all the way to the assembly hangar, but there and in the game play, the screen is completely blue and nothing can be done.

Ideas? Thanks.

Hopefully one of the linux gurus will be by soon-ish. In the mean time, it might be helpful if you could post some log files. Have you updated via

sudo apt-get update and

sudo apt-get upgrade then

sudo apt-get dis-upgrade?

Also the Modded install thread says you need to have bleeding edge kernel (at least ubuntu 14.10) to use the latest Intel graphics drivers v1.08, currently 14.04 is running 1.07. You can see the Intel downloads page here https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloads
