My first VTOL

Many times I have seen those fancy upward flying planes floating around on this forum. I've tried to make VTOLs before, and they ended up flipping over or exploding in general. However, from my sleep deprived brain, I finally managed to make a stable and working VTOL. *Cue victory dance and falling asleep midway through

The Turtle VTOL!

Action group 1 toggles VTOL engines and back engines.

Group 2 toggles the VTOL bay doors.

It was interesting to see that closing the door does actually cut off the thrust downward.

Upward speed: Average around 10 m/s

Forward speed: 200 m/s at 2500 alt.

Downward speed: As fast as you can make it.
