Hello! I'm a new lad in the forums, for weeks I've been reading pizzaoverhead's thread http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/55227-Kerbal-Sound-Overhaul-Project . And I was eagerly waiting for someone to step up and do the interior dynamic sound effects "ship stress sounds due to g-force, creates creaks, rattles, vibrations and alike"

I couldn't wait so I did it myself. I'm a newbie programmer but with a little bit of reading and reference I figure'd it out. It works by using the gforce data and converting that to be a usable dynamic volume control.

Currently working on some sound assets and mainly focused in IVA.

UPDATE(04.02.15):

Finished editing and creating the sound assets! Going to work on the plugin now and will rewrite it as well.

Best experience if combined with these mods: KerbQuake, Atmospheric Sound Enhancement, CollisionFX and FAR/NEAR(MORE GFORCE YAY!)

If someone could help me with the programming, that'd be great! It'll enable me to focus more on the soundeffects sampling myself.

Future Plans

Situations:

• Low Gforce

• Mid Gforce

• High Gforce

• Joint Stress Light

• Joint Stress Heavy

• Engine Thrust

Layering (add on top of sound base (light) to create variaty):

• Medium Mass Layer

• Heavy Mass Layer

Possible Layers of sounds:

• Low rattles - done, only a rattle to be used both for low and high intensities

• Vibrations - done

• Window shakes - done, part of vibrations

• Heavy Rattling - done, same asset for low rattles

• Flexing/Stressed Sounds - done(no flexing sounds yet)

Sound are Loops, We could add more final random chances of sounds during situations ontop of base sounds to randomize the sound.

Might give an exception to Joint Stresses they may fire only once the conditions are met.

Hi ensouensou, and welcome aboard! Great looking mod, the sound in KSP could definitely use some love.

Idea: Make the sound effects for gee-force deeped when you go into a thicker atmosphere like Eve or Jool.

Great idea! I could simply add values to my volumecont from Atmospheric Pressure data, like it could multiply it by some amount.

I noticed if you watch the video, when the parachute opens, there's a gforce bump ending up with a sudden rattle sound. I never intended this but it happened and I liked it
