Docking laser

I was thinking about a easy way to dock. The original Docking Mode is almost useless and the "NavyFish Docking Port Alignement" is a very good help, but still perfectible. I've got the idea of a laser coming out from the target docking port, that you can use to find a good alignement. In my opinion, the laser plus the Docking Port Alignement, will make every docking more easy and also a little more realistic. IRL lasers are used in docking.

Is anyone interested in this? I'm not skilled at all in coding...

MechJeb's Docking Autopilot is very accurate - you can specify the precise angular offset between docked ports, and it will perform the docking automatically for you (while also preventing collisions between vessels)

Romfarer's Lazor system add-on had a docking camera, which displays a view from the docking port itself, as well as numerical readouts of distance/angular offsets to the target port.

By the way, congratulations for your Service Module System. I used it in the past before Ram stopped me.

If you like to program there KOS and MJ again has landing and scansat can give you alittle info once you have mapped a planet or even JSI but, I haven't been that brave to try it full IVA landing.

The same answer. I know Mechjeb can do things for me, but I use it just to check if my interplanetary burns are correct. I like to pilot manually every moment of my missions. I just suggest that those things will be interesting to have...

No where did, I say put MJ on auto so take a chill pill was just saying it can give you alot of info but you already know so why ask what info are you looking for that it's not giving you you want pretty laser’s has sumghal post Romfarer's the mod for that if your not happy with navyfish there are books for C++ at the book store because it sounds like your just not happy have a nice day.

EDIT- He can was just try to give him a couple of mods that might give him the info he is look for.

Thank you very much. I was requesting for docking laser cause often happens to me to make my docking for interplanetary ships in the night side of Kerbin or other planet. Have a Alignement laser will just be useful and cool. My interplanetary ships are usually huge, so it isn't so easy in the dark spot the right docking port and avoid to bump other part of the ship, that's all...
