I need something new to do...

I've completed career mode 3 times now, and 14 mods are activated (BDArmory, B9Aerospace, CivillianPopulation, CollisionFX, CrosfeedEnabler, FAR, Firespitter, JSI, KAS, KTA, Kerbaltek, KMG, KWRocketry, and Mechjeb.

i've done most everything this game has to offer. I've built a base on every planet, attempted to do epic space war but failed because i dont know how to make things look cool, and i've done multiple tests with asteroids, built a base on an asteroid, set up a mining base on an asteroid, landed a super-long 10-piece super laggy super giant and fat colony ship on duna, the mun, and eve where it was either so tall the cockpits were techically orbiting according to mechjeb or nearly bursting into explosions and firey effects by toppling over...

Somebody give me some ships and stuff so I can do a KSP war and upload it to youtube.

Have you returned a Kerbal from Eve? Without using a command chair? In stock aero? How about a full crew of 3?

Disclaimer: I've only done it with the lawn chair, stock aero

Yes, head over to the challenge forums. I recommend Eve Rocks and Jool-5. I just did a Jool-5 (maybe I'll get around to posting a mission report) and it was really hard on the Jebediah level. I really learned a lot of new things about how to build super-heavy motherships.

1) exchange mechjeb for KER

2) install ALL of Roverdude's mods (USI catalog)

3) turn down financial rewards (makes fincances a bit more important)

3.5) install other difficulty mods (TACLS, DRE, RT2, [and RSS if you're feeling brave])... DRE, RSS, and NEAR together can be a truly humbling experience.

3.5.1) TACLS *really* improves the experience with USI.

3.5.2) RT2 can be annoying, but the flight computer is helpful once you learn how to use it... and setting up a commsat network is fun. The flight computer is limited in what it can do (I doubt you can land something with it), but it can help complete maneuvers during comms blackouts.

4) master the system

Establishing self-sufficient colonies is both extremely difficult and extremely rewarding. Highly recommend.

I'm basically on the same page here. Difference is that I haven't done all those accomplishments yet, but some of them just don't interest me at the moment.

Right now, I'm trying to figure how to properly calculate a transfer burn (timing and acceleration) without map view, RasterPropMonitor or any other kind of auto-pilotish help. The intent is to find someone to do a GroundControl + IVAOnlyPilot style mission with the help of Telemachus.

Anyway, I really envy these people who can play KSP every single day, and even livestream it, and always find different things to do. Sigh.

If you're ok with programming - install RemoeTech2 and kOS. Also DRE and LifeSupport.

And from this point launch all crafts using only written kOS scripts, no MJ2, manual control only in critical situations when autimation fails. *manual control only when kerbals in craft.
