Lighting Error? Help!

I assume you made your mesh in Blender, and set it to smooth shading, correct?

If so, you need to add (but do not apply) a EdgeSplit modifier set to 30~60 degrees, so that the cylindrical ends of the fuel tank are sharp, while the curved sides remain smooth.

Wow, I had no idea you didn't need to apply the modifier for it to work. That's great to know!

No, I used Wings 3D to make my model and my collider, then I added the mesh collider component in Unity. I'll try the edgesplit in Wings if there's a tool for it.

Select the ends of the parts, the edges and right click -> Choose hardness and set to hard.

These glitches are due to the ends of the models having soft edges.

I followed your tutorial to learn how to make KSP parts in the first place! Thanks! :D
