Well, I'd like some help / inspiration to create payloads for my launchers, If anyone here has created a nice looking Sat made out of anything creative, I'd be quite grateful if you could share a pic or two

Probably not what you're looking for but here's a Satellite built into the nosecone of a small spaceplane. It contains a 2x small Xenon tanks and an ION engine, only real problem is that the solar panels all point in one direction so you can run out of power if you're not careful. Built it when I was just messing around one day...

Well, that's just changed the entire shape of MY probe fleet for 1.0...

Not really too creative but is using the offset tool so it kind of is creative... Just google Space Technology 5.

Sort of a pain to make a payload with a couple of these sadly

I like it... did you offset the Gravioli detector then put the strut on?

I may have to "borrow" your idea for some of my future probes.

Yes, I used the Gravioli first then the strut. Took a bit of fiddling but I worked it out. If you need any help with making it work I can help.

Thanks for the tip, I can add a bit more variety to my craft with this... simple but effective. I'll have a play around later.

Just made this "Voyager" inspired satellite/probe using _Jack's technique...

Anyone here has a more kind of "mainstream" looking GEO commsat?

They tend to look like a box with antennae sticking out of it. As a result, I find them to be boring and like the Russian comsats better.
