Is it possible to copy my space stations to a new career?

I want to start a new career, but I want to carry my existing space stations with me. Can anyone tell me how to do that?

I recommend you back up your saves before updating, just copy the saves file somewhere safe first, and try loading your save in 1.0

It should work, but there's always unforeseen circumstances

You could open the persistent.sfs of your savegame and look for the name of your spacestation. You have to copy the whole section of this vehicle to your new savegame.

I think I can manage that. I'll let you know how it comes out.

Well, I was able to import all my stuff and kerbals into the new career. But I lost Jebediah along the way. Also I imported 211 pieces of debris.

More editing is required.

I think this method messed up my new career. My starting contracts include Ike and Vall.
