So, launcher and patcher both don't work?

Patcher opens for half a second and closes, and launcher is always checking for updates...

I'm having the same issue: the launcher opens fine shows up to date "news" section and so forth. BUT: it will sit on "checking for updates" forever. As in: I started it, walked off to do something else, came back 10 minutes later and nothing had changed.

Before asking:

- fully un-modded game

- stable internet connection

Ahh, I am modded, but have good internets too. But, I had this problem before using mods. I don't wanna redownload D:
