How can I disable the custom cursor?

Is there any way I can disable the custom mouse cursor and just use the default one when playing KSP? I know the last version had that option but I can't seem to find a way to do it in 1.0.

The cursor is new to 1.0 and wasn't in .90, and I don't think there's a way to disable it sorry.

That seems like a pretty major oversight, is there at least a way I could mod the cursor so it's the default?

It might be moddable, but why is it an oversight? It's just a cursor.

I'm so used to the default windows cursor that the new one bugs the heck out of me, I guess I'll just try to get used to it then. Other than that 1.0 seems pretty awesome.

Users with bad eyesight might have opted for a LARGE CURSOR but are now stuck with something they can't see.

Ahh I see, but there seems no way to change it easily, I think this will have to be a suggestion thread in the dev section.

I really dislike applications using custom cursors. For me this isn't an improvement but a problem to be fixed.

Yes, the new cursor is terrible and really needs the option to be disabled.

My video capture tool has an option to show or hide the system cursor in recorded videos. But it isn’t able to hide the custom cursor.

So I also want an option to choose the system one.

you're gonna need a big tree to hide that pointer behind!

I've got mixed feels about it, I don't mind it too much, but I wish it didn't change color, a pointer should not be so attention grabbing.

I like the custom cursor too, there should be a toggle but it should never be removed. I'd kill for that cursor

Same. The system one was a bit off with its pointy point and I always had to guess where should I click to move that one strut instead of the whole tank the strut was sitting on. It was the main reason I avoided playing in windowed mode.

Now we have the new one, which doesn't look half bad and points right at what it should be pointing.
