Can't use patcher downloaded with 1.0

Can't use the patcher and I am definitely using the correct login information. Re-downloaded it twice and I still can't use it. Every time I try to login I get

"Unable to authenticate with the server: Received malformed data from the server: File not found."

I have a similar problem on OS X. The patcher downloads every time I start up the Launcher but the zip file will not expand. I get an error that says "Unable to expand 'Patcher.zip' into 'KSP_osx'. (Error 2 - No such file or directory.)"

I've tried moving the Patcher.zip file to the Desktop but get the same message, except that 'KSP_osx' is replaced by 'Desktop'.

I am downloading the .exe directly now rather than attempting to patch, and I suspect this will be the workaround until the patcher is working again.

I am also experiencing this problem. Patcher will not download KSP. Launcher gets stuck checking for updates (oddly it got news just fine).

Tried redownloading patcher. Didn't help.

Tried six different internet connections.

Computer successfully patched to .90 a week ago.

This is frustrating me.
