Additional activities on existing planets, such as using repeated surface/atmo/ocean samples and statistical analysis to determine the resources/compounds/substances present, adds much more long-term gameplay value compared to simply "ooh, look, another planet".

I only want another planet for realism's sake. Kerbin would've been swallowed by Jool earlier in the Kerbolar System's history. We need another one, which would've "pulled" on Jool and stopped it from moving inwards.

Right now, the 32 bit cap is kind of a pain in the a-s-s for this. KSP on Unity 5 is just necessarily before pumping in even more code and especially textures into the game.

Not really needed, but we do need more diversity of conditions in the bodies. Moho overheating everything, Icy geisers on Vall, etc.

While I would love a new planet. I would really love the team to spend an entire update just 'remastering' the planets. As previously mentioned, things like geysers or volcanic action would be nice, things like atmospheric conditions (hurricanes, turbulence radiation, heat pockets...) I'd like to see more interesting terrain in general.

Certainly, if they ever do decide to implement more planets, they're not going to get NovaSilisko to do them. The people behind Outer Planets Mod are great, Squad should hire them to do the planets if they decide to implement new ones. Not necessarily Sarnus, Urlum, and Neidon, but similar bodies. Point is, they're great art and design.
