Strange thermometer reading?

It should read 260.06 K then, not 260.06°. As far as I know, the correct unit is NOT 260.06 degree Kelvin, it's just 260.06 Kelvin.

Actually it's funny, how can grass be there when it's -12 °C (10 °F)? :)

lol not a Canadian, eh? I've got pictures here in Calgary, of a bright sunny day, green grass, berries on trees, etc... and it's -18C. If it's green when it freezes, it stays green :)
