Updating

I am play ksp on my mac but when a new version comes out my ksp does not update automatically, how do I manually update it.

I try to use the launcher but it has been 5 hours and it still says checking for updates.

I have tried the launcher but it say checking for updates and its been like that for hours.

First, welcome to the forums.

Are you running the game through stream? It should update automatically.

If not, like me... I'm also asking if the patcher is working at all?! Same behavior here. Of course we could download the whole game anew. And what then? Maybe unzip to a new folder and manually copying the savegame. Or is it possible to unzip with overwrite (missing any deletions)?

Updater never seems to work for me on Mac either. Re-download whole game or install via Steam are your only two alternative options.
