I did a quick part heat overload test.

I was reading THIS awesome guide, and after looking at the thermal coefficients, and using some things I usually attach rockets to, made a small thermal test to see which these parts exploded first, and which one exploded last.

Images are in order of time.

LEFT TO RIGHT: Solar panels radially mounted, large battery, small service bay, large service bay, mk3 monopropellant tank, 1.25 fuel tank.

IN CONCLUSION:

* Radially mounted solar panels over heated first

* Large battery overheated second

* Large service bay and 1.25 fuel tank overheated around the same time at third

* Mk 1.25 service bay overheated second to first

* Mk3 monoprop tank overheated last

Please comment if you have anything related to thermal temperature tips, and methods to dissipate it. :)
