This is a simple question!

Okay so the game wont make any sound not even background music! I have KSP through steam and have the latest updates and everything and not modded game at all. The sound folder in the local KSP file on my computer is empty. I dont know if thats normal? Ive uninstalled and re-installed twice with no effect on the sound whats so ever. Also, the sound didnt work in the last build before the 1.00 update. Id be happy to answer any more details if needed! Thanks so much!

FMOD failed to initialize ... A call to a standard soundcard driver failed, which could possibly mean a bug in the driver or resources were missing or exhausted.

The soundcard driver fail was in another crash report two days later from the one i Posted with the same message. Does this mean anything?

Well, the volume is up in the settings.cfg, I assume you can play sounds with other applications so your speakers work and are on, that leaves the sound card software.

Can you post your latest KSP.log and output_log (it's in KSPData) please, also if you have other speaker ports please try them while KSP is running.

Also please check your sound card software for an Fmod stream while KSP is running, it might be muted.
