Mac OSX config files location

Not sure if this is the correct location to ask this question, and it's a very basic one that has probably been asked a thousand times. But…

I can't seem to find the location of the config files, I'm thinking about changing some values in them. Specifically, some parts attributes. Can someone let me know where I might find them? I use a Mac, OSX 10.8.5. Thanks in advance!

Edit: Forgot to mention I use the Steam default location. I've done searches in finder and can't seem to locate the obvious location for any game data files.

Find the installation folder (where the KSP.exe is located) then go into GameData, then Squad, then it should be obvious from there.

Errr, I don't think .exe files run on Mac natively. I should have mentioned I use the Steam default location.

Okay, the KSP program/app/whatever-you-call-it. I mean the same thing.

It'll be where steam stores it then. Find where that is, then follow the folders I mentioned.

The default Steam install location should be "Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Kerbal Space Program/" under your home directory. Parts can be found at GameData/Squad/Parts/ under that.

Thanks for the replies so far. But wow. Something is very strange, I have no "Library/Application Support/Steam" directory!

I do a search for "Steam" and all I get is the app file.

I do a search for "KSP" or "Kerbal", all I get is the application file if the Applications directory.

Searching for "Squad" or "parts" returns no results.

I will have to look into this further when I return home from work.

You should be able to open the game folder with the Steam client, right click on KSP and click Properties, there's a tab for local files.
