Blast from the past!

Was doing some reading on early ksp and realized just how far this game has come. Some of you (if not most of you) haven't been here for the whole ride and missed out on alot of "early" ksp. Below is a link to one of the earliest full fledged lets plays of KSP. All the way back when it was in 0.13...its still one of my favorite things to watch for neostalgic purposes (and was the initial reason I got into ksp). The youtuber's name is Kurt J Mac (i'm sure many of you know him already) for those who don't know him he has inspired quite a few to play this game. I'd just like to thank him (tho i doubt he'd ever see this post ) for sharing with me one of the best and most enlightening games I've ever played!

Wow, this is old... 2 months before I started playing.

Hahaha. That's the very video that got me into KSP!

I was very into Minecraft at the time, and followed Etho, Guude and the Mindcrack crowd in general, One day I noticed Kurt had this KSP game and thought my son would like it. Bought it for him almost straight away. Then I started playing it (more than my son). And as they say, the rest is history.

I remember when i first played, we didnt have landing gear, and had to place our fins perfectly so they were just a hair taller then the engines, and we had to land just right so that it wouldt tip.

This was the first big publicity for the game, is the reason Kurtjmac is thanked in KSP's credits, and is also the inspiration for the crashed Münar lander with "Mün or Bust" at the main menu.

Fun trivia: Often forgotten is that some Yogscast moron with an equally large audience covered KSP just a few days later. He didn't prepare at all for the video, learned nothing at all about how the game works, and was otherwise so impossibly bad at KSP, it's likely that barely any Yogscast viewers felt motivated to check out the game.
