BZ-52 Radial Attachment Point WAY too expensive?

So, I'm playing carreer mode, I've just unlocked that node and noticed how freakin expensive that thing is.

1.25 Clamp-O-Trons are just 280 funds each, while the BZ-52 (Which is meant to be a defective Clamp) costs a thousand two hundred fifty funds each, any particular reason for that?

It's as pricey as a poodle engine, or a LV-T45 which I find abusibe for a simple piece of "trash", I mean, I can use structural frames which are 25 funds each for the same pourpose, or even the working docking ports for the same functionallity and way less price

Doesn't the radial attachment point give you a much more rigid connection?

Good point. Given that it's supposed to be derived from a defective docking port, you wouldn't expect it to cost multiple times a docking port.

There are a lot more overpriced/underpriced stuff in the VAB. It's quite disappointing that these issues have not been revolved, as they can severely affect gameplay and have been around for many updates.
