Most of my crafts tend to be very - very barebone. Which means when I see your spacecraft, I see alot of exessive mass without much practical useage. ( I didn't account for the whole, missile bombardment, lasers and space-mines)

thats the whole point. the more impractical, inefficient, and obnoxiously large a warship is the better

Making something, out of less then nothing has always been a good challenge, like this new endurance plane I am working on. Around Kerbin non-stop with no refueling.

I'd like to see that!

This is my new design thats also based loosely on the XC series, I used MK2 parts for the hull because they have better crash tolerance.

160 parts, 75 tons

propulsion is 6 nuke engines (~3000 DV)

primary weapons = x6 small SRBs or x2 large SRBs mounted on the prow spine.

secondary weapons = x15 small I-beam rockets or oscar-b smart missiles mounted in port/stardboard weapon pods (and x1 at the tip of the prow)

optional equipment = x2 large srbs, x1 fighter/bomber (with x6 rockets), or x2 droptanks for extended range mounted on ventral docking port

So Jo i know it was not designed to be really tolarent for missile but i've been able to crack it about 95% of the time with my new 0.625 missile. probably make a ship to fit it soon. in massive quantities

I've not been able to keep using armoured ships due to 1.0 disagreeing with my PC. I struggle with 300 parts now where I used to be able to run 500 with ease.

I'm also using this ship as a small mothership so giving it tons of armour would damage its dV.

And just plastering them with metal plates just doesn't look as nice.

i know jo i wish i could build such nice ships...but at least my bases are good looking.
