Has anyone bothered to look at the Mun?

Ever since Minmus came out, I\'ve landed twelve times, all in different spots and returned safely 10 times. (Two were probes).

But I did, however, check out the Mun... It seems the Devs have made the Maria dark again! Landing there, the ground is very black, but the Mun as a whole appears very silvery. It\'s a huge improvement and I was wondering if any of you had noticed.

You can tell from just looking at it from the sky, they made a major improvement.

I\'ve noticed that the Mun seemed a little different, but I haven\'t been there in this version, yet.

I find the new Mun quite delicious. However, I am undergoing a certain paranoid attachment with the three missions I have that are able to go to the Mun. They are currently sitting in Kerbin orbit, probably wondering by now if they will ever come home or proceed on mission.

I just don\'t want them to go kaboom! *sniff*

I have a ship in orbit and it looks fantastic. Much richer texture than before. I have not been close enough to see if those rocks are still there, but it looks like Nibb31 has and there are no more rocks. They kind of looked like stubble to me . . . nice idea but it was implemented in a way that made it really obvious. So I\'m OK with them being gone.

Nice job again, Kerbal devs. I love that we\'re only at release .15 and it looks so cool already.

I have been meaning to go there after seeing the arches, but I was distracted with the aircraft, being able to land on stock wheels makes a massive difference and I have just taken off from Minmus with a stock rover

Looks much nicer for sure from orbit. Hopefully the dev team keeps improving the textures of the current celestial bodies with each update

I always liked the rocks... They gave me half a chance of being able to tell how close the ground was when I tried to land on the dark side.

I only go to minmus VIA the mun, so I have seen alot of it.

I thought the Mun looked different, even when looking from the launch pad, but I couldn\'t tell if it was actually different

i have only successfully landed on the mun in this version. can you tell me,or show me, what it looked like prior.

I also love the new Mun, but I have a huge disdain for New Moon, or any of it\'s stinking brethren.
