Where the Hell are my Drestroids?!

3 saves. Not one goddamn Dresteriod. Everyone else seems to have em. Where's mine? Are they rare? Am I unlucky (wouldn't be surprised, my luck sucks big time)? Please help me.

Try setting your focus in the map view to either Dres or a vessel in orbit of Dres, I think that's how the asteroids started showing for me.

They arent rendered in map view at long ranges like those around kerbin are. Basically zoom in far enough and i think they should show, although i 1st discovered them once i got a fleet of warships in orbit.

It was stated by one of the Devs in the release day Q&A on reditt (don't have link handy) that the Drestroids don't actually start spawning until you get a ship into the SOI.

You will see more dresteroids if you orbit as well.

I have a craft in orbit of Dres but I haven't checked up on it since I got the level 3 Tracking Station, I might need to switch to it for 'em to start spawning.

Huh? I really should read patchnotes sometimes, didn't even knew about the existence of these until I saw this thread xD

Had two vessels around Dres since early midgame, checked an hour ago for "Drestroids", boom, two of 'em, one Class A and a Class E.

My ressource scanning Sat around Dres had plenty of d/v left, so I visited both of them, just to say "Hi!"
