Science per biome Vs science per body

Recommended Posts

Hi,

is there a list somewhere showing which science reports give new results per biome, and which are just per body?

For example I just did not low and high polar orbits around kerbin to get science from flying over different biomes, and I think only the EVA in LKO got me anything new. Nothing for the thermometer/science jr/barometer/goo in either low or high orbit. Then I flew another mission to the pole and landed on tundra and ice caps. On the surface, all the instruments gave different data per biome, as did EVA 'flying' and on the ground.

is that a trend on other bodies like mun/minmus? I.e I only have to get one grab of science from high orbit, and one from low orbit (and EVA data in low orbit oer biome), then I have to land to get the rest?

science is quite confusing so I'm constantly thinking I'm missing lots
