Are they currently functional? It just seems odd to me that Squad would let C7 put stuff in that\'s only purely decorative.

Not *yet*. There\'s only one or two purely structural engine bodies currently, and they\'re there so you can have lighter engines that don\'t necessarily have to be attached to fuel tanks directly, as fuel can be routed through the wings.

They are functional, and I\'ve no doubt someone will find an unusual use for them pretty soon.

They are damn sexy, though.

They also help make your own Phoenix from stock parts very easy, as well.
