New Career, Contracts not working

The very first contract will not complete, Launch our first vessel, even though I have launched multiple craft. It is getting in the way of my career.

Also, maybe related, I cannot cancel(decline) any missions.

I have tried this 4 times, each with their own fresh install and no mods. At this point, I'll take advice on how to edit the save data to get it out of the Active Contract screen.

Any help is much appreciated. Any more info needed, just let me know.

I used the debug menu to complete the mission. It popped back up, this time with a time limit.

I was able to complete it this time.

I still cannot decline or cancel contracts though. Any help?

Not all contracts can be declined, such as the first four contracts or the first contracts to other planets.

The first contract should complete the moment you launch your first vessel, or be removed from the list if you launched without accepting the contract.

You may have a corrupted save, does this issue occur on a new save?

If it does reoccur please see the support stickies and upload your game logs.

Also dont have multiple mission saves ; not game saves but multiple folders for different games in Career modes; I had problems with this and have only one Career game folder; not that that was an issue for you.
