How do I work the rover wheels?

Before the uprage mod I could have my rover wheels controled by going to docking mode and doing the normal direction w,s,a,d, keys.

If I do this now the thing will rotate at the same time.

Obviously this is a bit of an issue. My Minimus fuel base really needs a forklift truck and it will need to move about and rotate as separate things. The I,K,J,L keys don't work either. I think they would be the best option but....

I was able to get 60 mps out of my old Mun rover and need to be able to keep the gyros on to do that sort of racing about.

Just reassign the rover keys to arrows. It's what I did and it works fine.

6. Scroll down to the 'Wheels' section

Just remember that it changes the steering for spaceplanes as well.

Just drive it out of docking mode, and disable any pod torque.

Otherwise, stick a rocket motor on one end, and fixed landing gear on the bottom. That's what I've done for my KSC exploration vehicle, because rover wheels don't unlock for AGES.

And Jeb jumped at the idea of a rocket car.

I like blue ink.

I can go to the settings menu from pressing escape in the actual game but the main menu as titled maim menu has no such option.

When you say 'input' tab please explain because that means nothing at all to me.

Go to the main menu, there will be a settings option. By the input tab, I meant the tab/button that says Input on it.

Found the menu you mean.

It's the one you fist get when you load it. You can't get back to it from in game. You have to load from scratch.

Can you sustain 40 mps over the Mun for 30km at that?

Or can you travel 35km just on your rear wheels on Duna after an unfortunate moment on Ike?

You can just exit to the main menu, no need to re-open the game.
